Truffle Exporting
In China, most of the companies can't export the truffle
directly, and have to export through a state-owned import/export
company. However, for a truffle-producing company whose export
volume exceeds 250,000 USD in three consecutive years, Chinese
Ministry of Trade and Economics Cooperation (MOFTEC) will
grant the direct export right to this company. We're sure
we're the only truffle-producing company in Yunnan who has
the direct truffle export right.
The direct export right enables us to have the whole supplying
process, picking, processing and exporting under control.
This all-in-one ability has brought about two important advantages:
- One-level supplying system
One of our strengths as a truffle supplier is our export
staff who are knowledgeable at both truffles and international
trade.
Most truffle suppliers in China are either proficient in
doing international business, but lack of the knowledge about
the truffle, usually not able to organize and supervise the
picking; or are good at harvesting the truffles, but lack
of the language ability and knowledge to do international
business. So, to supply the truffles, several companies will
have to work together as the following system:
A customer -> import/export trading company -> a truffle
dealer -> a lower-level truffle dealer -> farmers
This multi-level supplying system may lead to the result
of what the customer says being further from what farmers
are instructed, and then cause the unhappy experience with
Chinese truffle suppliers.
By comparison, our one-level supplying system is:
A customer -> Yunnan Yunri
This ensures that a customer contacts us, tells us what he
wants, and gets exactly what he wants.
It's important to transport the fresh truffles to our customers
around the world as soon as the fresh truffles are picked

The fresh truffles can only be transported by air. There
is no fridge facility available on the plane. For this, our
